| As the first DeKalb County School built specifically as a middle school, we are a prototype for all the newer middle schools. Several outdoor classrooms are located throughout the campus including the Arboretum, which aids students in learning about an estimated 110 plant species. Cedar Grove was named a National Demonstration School in 2004, one of only 11 nation wide. |
